February 2011: Thinking Water, Part 1

ALI hosted faculty representatives of every accredited design program in California for a one-day colloquium, “Thinking Water.” Held Saturday, February 12th, at Woodbury, the event generated great input into framing the Drylands Design Competition + Conference. ALI is grateful for the input of colleagues from San Diego, Pomona, Davis, Berkeley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in helping us to understand what the schools want to get out of the Drylands Design Initiative. We were joined by our partners from the California Architectural Foundation, the American Institute of Architects/California Council, and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
