January 2011: Landscape Futures 'SuperWorkshop' organized by Geoff Manaugh

October 12, 2011

The Landscape Futures 'SuperWorkshop' was a week-long idea exchange organized by Geoff Manaugh of BLDGBLOG. Clark Stevens, Hadley Arnold, and ALI thesis students joined students and practitioners from the Bartlett School (London) and Columbia GSAPP for a series of presentations, discussions and site visits moderated by Geoff. Geoff's inquiry invites designers to reconsider “how we think of landscapes, how we explore them, ways that we document them and the tools we used/use/will use to gain a deeper understanding of them." For more, see a short article in Domus. To follow Geoff's extended investigation, see Landscape Futures: Instruments Devices and Architectural Inventions at the Nevada Museum of Art, Reno.
