Jennifer Bonner on teaching with ALI
Jennifer Bonner of Bonner Studio and Georgia Tech writes of her experience advising three ALI theses as a Visiting Professor at Woodbury School of Architecture in 2011-2012. Jennifer focusses on the diverse work of Jesus de Anda (a radical reformulation of Phoenix); Stepan Andreasian (a time-based remediation of a tough brownfield site in Burbank); and Cesia Lopez (analyzing water infrastructure's role in the public spaces of Instanbul, Rome, and Los Angeles). The article appeared in the innaugural issue of ARID: A Journal of Art, Design, and Ecology.
ARID is edited by Hadley and Peter Arnold, Arid Lands Institute @ Woodbury University; Kim Stringfellow, UCSD; Andrea Polli, UNM; and Greg Esser, ASU Herberger Institute, Desert Initiative.
