Hazel Workshop @ SxSWEco, Austin
A changing climate means a changing water cycle. How will arid and semi arid cities adapt? How will new tools and design methods maximize the recovery and re-use of urban runoff, enhancing city's public spaces while meeting water supply and climate objectives? Our team is delighted to be part of this year's SxSW Eco line-up. Hadley Arnold of ALI, Leigh Christy of Perkins+Will, Deborah Weintraub of City of LA Bureau of Engineering, and Rowan Roderick-Jones, recently named head of urban green infrastructure for The Nature Conservancy, will discusss HAZEL: A Tool for Water-Smart Design in Drylands. Work on Hazel is supported in part by the AIA College of Fellows Latrobe Research Prize, 2015-2017.
Join us for a workshop at the Austin Convention Center/Austin Suite on October 11th at 11:30 am.
