Cesia Lopez-Angel

Cesia Lopez-Angel is a recent graduate of Woodbury University who focused her graduate design work around the topic of water as a design material. A graduate of ALI's MSArch program, Cesia received Woodbury's 2012 Master’s Thesis Award for "LA Defined: An investigation into water infrastructure and public architectures in the Mediterranean City,” and a 2010 Design Award from the Pasadena & Foothill Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for her undergraduate thesis, “Emergent Waterscape: An Urban Exploration for Ceremony and Functionality.” Her work has been exhibited at the Architecture and Design Museum of Los Angeles; at Woodbury University; and in student-initiated exhibitions at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Cesia is currently enrolled in NCARB's IDP program in pursuit of licensure, and was named a 2013 Enterprise Rose Architecture Fellow.
